Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry is where the Reardon Dental’s major theme of “We Make Smiles”, really comes together! It is also where having so many dental specialties “Under One Roof” including our own dental lab makes so much sense.

Sometimes the challenge of making self confident smiles is as simple as cleaning or whitening but it may require more structural work like cosmetic bonding, crowns, porcelain veneers, or even orthodontic procedures, implants, bridges or dentures.

At Reardon Dental we have all these services and more!

By having specialists in all the major dental procedures we can much more easily consult in-house to give any special need or circumstance the very best recommendations and treatment plans.

All of this expertise accrues to the benefit of our patients, giving them the very best in modern, specialized, dental care with the most caring and friendly dental team in Chester County.

Dental Crowns

Dental Crowns: Teeth are often restored using silver or composite plastic fillings. However, when too much of a tooth’s structure is removed to support fillings, dental crowns or “caps” may be needed. Dental crowns may be needed to:

  • Restore a tooth when it is unable to support a large filling
  • Attach bridges
  • Protect a weak tooth from fracturing or restore fractured teeth
  • Cover badly shaped or discolored teeth
  • Cover dental implants

A crown essentially covers a tooth to restore it to its natural shape and size. This permanent covering fits over your original tooth to strengthen or improve the appearance of the tooth. Fitting a crown generally requires at least two visits to the dentist’s office.

Cosmetic Bonding

If you have teeth that have stains that cannot be removed by bleaching, and veneers or crowns are not necessary, then cosmetic bonding might be a good option for you. Cosmetic bonding is an affordable, quick and painless way to repair many cosmetic flaws or injuries, including:

  • Gaps in teeth
  • Spots or stains
  • Chipped teeth

Dental bonding sculpts individual teeth without requiring removal of any tooth structure. This technique bonds a composite material that looks, acts and feels like the real thing, to an existing tooth. This procedure usually doesn’t require the use of an anesthetic; is relatively quick to apply; gives an immediate result and is less expensive than veneers.

Porcelain Veneers

Do you have discolored or crooked teeth, teeth with spaces between them or teeth stained by fillings? You can change the shape, color and length of your teeth using porcelain veneers. Veneers are thin, durable shells designed to cover the front of the tooth. They are typically made of porcelain and are extremely durable, stain resistant, natural-looking and easy to maintain.

Porcelain veneers are custom-fitted to your teeth by removing a small amount of enamel and bonding the veneer to your teeth using a safe, high tech polymer resin. You can expect veneers to stay bright and strong for many years by performing good oral hygiene.

What Our Patients Are Saying

  • Lillie D.9/14/2020

Had an appointment at Reardon today for a fractured lower incisor, and must say in my 33 years on earth this was the most pleasant and best dental experience I've ever had. Their facility is large, clean, and very well maintained. The staff is excellent, in that they're very friendly and good at what they do. They are practicing as safely as I've seen any medical facility practice during the pandemic. My appointment was started on time (which never happens for any doctors appointment) and I was out of there quickly. Fast, efficient, good at what they do. I will definitely be returning to this practice and highly encourage anyone in the Phoenixville area to look no further for a dentist!

I used to live in Kimberton, but moved two years ago to Conshohocken. However, I like Reardon Dental so much that I still travel back to Phoenixville for my dental care. They stay current with dental procedures and techniques and I always feel good after getting my teeth cleaned.

  • Maureen S.7/12/2020

Reardon Dental doctors and staff were total pros from the moment I scheduled the appointment. Great communication prior to my appointment. When I arrived at the office the screening, the waiting room set up, the hygienist and Dr O’Brien all worked together to make everything go seamlessly and safely. Thank you all; I know that you are doing important work under difficult circumstances. I am so grateful!

I really enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly and always great at answering my (many) questions. Both myself and my husband go here and I realize my anxiety about the dentist has greatly decreased since I’ve been coming here. I would highly recommend them.
